The Fire Department is staffed entirely by volunteers. Our members are not only dedicated firefighters and emergency medical responders, but are local business owners, professionals, students and neighbors.
Our incidents have increased by 1,000+ per year in the last decade. The number of calls the department is dispatched to steadily increases every year and our team needs help now more than ever.
We provide our volunteers with free training, free equipment, and invaluable experiences through partnerships with local and county training agencies. We’re accepting members for the following roles:
Firefighter & EMT
Training and equipment provided fire, rescue and EMS (Quick Response Service) incidents through local county fire academies. Involvement with Departmental trainings and responses and other duties as required. Members can serve as firefighters, EMTs, or both. Eligible members can qualify for scholarships through CCAC’s FireVEST Program, which covers tuition and books.
Support / Association Member
Involved with Administrative tasks within the organization, not involved with fire or emergency responses. Aids with hall rentals, recruitment, fundraising, and/or committee work, as needed.
